Bearded Dragon Zero
Bearded Dragon Zero – The Patternless Phantom
The Zero Bearded Dragon is the ultimate expression of minimalist beauty in the reptile world. As a recessive mutation, the Zero is completely patternless and devoid of all color, ranging from a striking "paper white" to a sophisticated "concrete grey." Unlike other morphs that rely on vibrant reds or yellows, the Zero makes a statement through its total lack of pigment, offering a ghostly, ethereal aesthetic that is unlike any other Pogona vitticeps.
Often called the "Silver Shadow" of the desert, these dragons are highly sought after by collectors who appreciate a clean, modern, and monochromatic look for their high-end vivariums.
What Makes the Zero Morph Unique?
Total Absence of Pattern: Zero markings, stripes, or spots. The result is a smooth, uniform color from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail.
Monochromatic Palette: Depending on their mood and temperature, these dragons can shift between a bright, snowy white and a deep, slate grey.
The "Silver" Factor: Many Zeros possess a metallic, silvery sheen that catches the light beautifully, highlighting their prehistoric spikes and features.
Premium Rarity: As a recessive trait, producing high-quality Zeros requires expert genetic pairing, making them a prestigious addition to any collection.
A Modern Aesthetic for Your Home
The Zero is the "blank canvas" of the bearded dragon world. Their neutral tones make them the perfect centerpiece for a naturalistic enclosure featuring lush green plants, dark lava rocks, or desert wood. They provide a high-contrast visual that is both calming and undeniably "cool."

Expert Care for a "White" Dragon
Color Shifting: Don't be alarmed if your Zero changes color! Like most bearded dragons, their hue can darken to a charcoal grey when they are trying to absorb more heat and lighten to a brilliant white when they are fully "charged" and basking.
Lighting & Display: To truly showcase the snowy white tones of a Zero, we recommend using a T5 HO 10.0 UVB paired with a "Cool White" LED (approx. 6500K). This prevents the dragon from looking "yellowed" under traditional warm bulbs and brings out their natural, ghostly brilliance.
